I'm trying to figure out how to get all the categories to show up on the left hand side of the front page. I added categories, but they don't appear. there is no left hand column that I can see.
Using version 5

Add the 'category menu' content block to column #1.
In the center of the black admin bar at the top of the screen is column 1,2,3. Click on 1 and add the content blocks you'd like to install. |

I have a site menu and a category menu added already in column 1. See attachment. It still does not display anything (in any of the 3 column blocks) the default.aspx page shows the blocks (are they not named correctly?) I figured it out. I emulated the Print Book theme (used it as a template) and it does not show the front columns. I'm going to redo it using the stock BVC 5 theme
