Hi am using a BV 4 cart, the security code shows up when the customer adds it during check out but it doesn't show up in the admin section when go to process the orders. Any suggestions?

If you are processing offline, you are restricted from using the CVV code. |

Just adding to Matt's comment, it is a credit card company restriction--not a BV restriction. The credit card companies forbid merchants from storing the CVV in any way, shape, or form...even temporarily.
Your 2 choices are: 1) use online processing with the CVV [the CVV is sent to the processor and then immediately discarded], or 2) use offline processing without the CVV. |

Why would you need the CVV code? The order is either already authorized or charged. If its already authorized, then to capture you dont need the CVV code. And if its captured and you need to perform a refund, you dont need the CVV code.
You basically do not need the CVV afterwards unless you want to collect cards and process them offline. Are you planning to do that? |

We are processing the orders in house so we need to gather the security code in the admin section. any thoughts?

You need the CVV code or your merchant bank charges you a higher rate. |
