Guys I am new to this software but am running a forum with it. By mistake one of the other Admins when in and thought they were just deleting a few threads when they deleted an entire section to the forum by mistake. What is the easiest way to recover this deleted data not knowing if they have a backup and what is the best way to back up the entire forum for the future ?

I'm really not familiar with dotNetBB, but most likely you will need to use a backup of your SQL Server database to retrieve the missing data. You will need to merge the deleted data into your new database (i.e. you can't just restore from the backup or you will loose all of the new data since the backup). |
