Go to the "Catalog Tab" then look at the sub menu links in the dark green bar below. You'll see Products, Categories, etc.. Look for "kits" in that menu.

Kits are a way for you to create bundles of other products. You can pre-build kits with parts you select, let customers choose from parts to build their own kit or a combination of both in the same item.

A classic example of a kit would be a custom configured computer. Although the customer is purchasing one computer it is made up of lots of inventory parts like video cards, RAM, etc. If a merchant tracks inventory separately for a specific video card then when a kit is purchased with that video card, inventory is automatically removed from that item. So, if the merchant runs out of nvidia cards all kits that include nvidia cards will show that option as out of stock.

A kit can be also a buy X get Y/Z free type of promotion.

Primary product is X. radio button select Y or Z.

It would be a great way to add options to one of your guns. Mind that I don't know much about them, options may not be.. well.. an option. :)

Gun is main product priced at X. include checkboxes for options (which will modify the price).

even add an option for a freebie, which doesn't modify price.

I tried to create an offer when customer buys one of my specific products X; I want to give him a free product Y. So, after I created an offer I add that X to the shopping card but still don't see that Y (free product) in the shopping cart. I am not sure why.... I thought I can use the Kits for that since that offer didn’t work for me but have no idea how to use it.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
