Hello,
I was searching in the People tab and looking at specific users can see what day they logged in and what was typed in the search box... This information would be helpful to the merchant and wonder if this can be made in the form of a report? |

It's pretty easy for a developer to make custom reports for BV, and what you're describing should be query-able without having to track any additional information. |

hey aaron, how about this.... I made this suggestion a ways back for BV to consider.
the above request is fantastic, more so if the report included contact information & email address. Perfect for phone reps to make a cold call, great for targeted email campaigns.
The current keyword report is improved like this:
1. additional column is added to the online report. "View Results" is a link next to each search term reported.
2. when clicked, pop-up window of the first ten items found. Doesn't have to be a fully loaded page, a simple ordered list with SKU and product name would suffice. i.e no pictures, no prices, etc.
This gives us all the ability to optimize the internal search engines. We see that customers are searching for a product that is applicable to the search term, however, due to the fact that one product can be called something different based on their region, the applicable products are not being found in the search results.
We open up the products, add the term to the search keywords, and now we've optimized the internal search engine!
A real world example is that I've always called it a "Painter's Tarp", but it's also known to be called "Visqueen". I didn't know this until my chicago-based client had me add it to the products and sure enough... sales in the queue. |
