Does anyone know how to get the option for Signature Delivery to show up? We have customers request it in the notes section but when we add it the shipping rate increases above what the customer actually paid. We either have to eat it or call them to ask them to pay the difference. It would be nice if there was a check box that they could check for Signature Delivery that would show the correct rate for it.

This might be an option.


Is a signature delivery the same fixed price each time?



shipping = X + Y



X = Shipping rate

Y = Signature Charge



and Y is always $1



if it is, create a new shipping method, "FedEx Ground". title it "FedEx Ground - Signature Req.", you can adjust the shipping rate by a percentage or an exact amount. Adjust the rate by Y and select "Amount".



This is assuming that you're providing real time shipping rates.

lol... I actually mentioned it :)

A client has asked me about this a few times over the years.

A great benefit of this being enabled is the ability to fight charge backs when a customer tries to pull a fast one and say that it never arrived....
