Have you ever run the Cart Cleanup on this page in the admin (/BVAdmin/Configuration/Orders.aspx)? If that process does not complete, you may be experiencing the bug (and fix) that I outlined here: http://forums.bvcommerce.com/de...lt.aspx?f=78&m=66005

If you're able to run the cart cleanup process without a problem, then those tables you mention should be getting cleaned up based on the interval you configure for the cart cleanup process.

As for customer data, there is no way to do this in BV other than writing a SQL script. I'm not sure why you would want to delete customer accounts, though. What's the harm?

Our customer wanted us to clean up all the user records, because they suspect ( maybe falsly) that they are running out of disk space due to this.


I think that the real reason may be the thousands of empty carts which are generated every second, every day.



This is probably due to the bug that you mentioned.

Go to the "Options" tab and then click "Orders" in the left-column menu. On the page there is a "Run Cart Cleanup" button.
