I'm trying to figure out why certain orders are not being imported. There are orders that I cannot import into QB no matter what I try -- if I try to import that specific Order ID, it just will not do so. Has anyone seen this or have a clue as to what I can look for? |

I found the reason that orders were skipped -- it had to do with new products on the order and not having the correct Inventory account in QB -- but I also found that the connector has been applying sales tax to ALL orders.
Can anyone give me a suggestion as to how I can OVERWRITE existing sales in QB or otherwise edit in bulk sales to eliminate the sales tax applied to out of state orders? In QB I can't "delete" a sales receipt, only VOID and that has to be done one at a time -- I'm talking over 5000 orders!
Thx |

Joe, this may be possible thru the Intuit SDK which is free, but the learning curve is steep. Backup is vital to state the obvious, perhaps a QB developer could assist. Go here for the SDK info. http://developer.intuit.com/technical_resources/default.aspx?id=1492 and here for possible sources for developers http://marketplace.intuit.com/developers.aspxGood luck.

Thanks -- it may be more time conducive for me to just edit all the sales receipts! |

I too am having a LOT of orders not import. Birdsafe - can you explain in more detail what you discovered? Many of my products tend to go into negative inventory as I drop ship a lot of items... do you think this might be the problem?

Joe, you should be able to delete a sales receipt. Are you an admin user? |
