[3]Where I can find and replace the Shipping text: ' To Be Determined. Contact Store for Details' on the Checkout page? We have FREE SHIPPING on all orders and I think this is what makes customers get confused. I am thinking about changing the text to something like: FREE SHIPPING![/3] memikhail attached the following image(s): ShippingDetails.jpg (17kb) downloaded 81 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. If you mark your products as "Non-Shippable" -- then the text will say:
"No Shipping Required"

The "No Shipping Required" text can be changed in Options > Site Terms, but that may not be a good solution if you actually do ship your products.
I don't think you can change the "To Be Determined. Contact Store for Details" text without the core source. If you have that version, look in BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core\Orders\Order.vb, around line 1266. But you'd be better off actually setting up free shipping as an offer on everything. If that works, anyway, I've not had the chance to try it out. |

[3]Creating the 'Free Shipping' as an offer doesn’t change the text 'To Be Determined. Contact Store for Details' It is in the BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.dll[/3] and I am not sure how to change it even though I have a all source files.

Hi Michael,
If that text is being displayed for your shipping options it means that your shipping options are configured wrong. That option is "created" when an error occur when the software attempts to retrieve valid shipping rates. |

An extremely similar thread that I'm seeking an answer on: http://forums.bvcommerce.com/default.aspx?f=79&m=50606If the site doesn't know what zip code it's shipping too, why is it attempting to retrieve the rates? |

What I did to make it nicer is to create a shipping provider (based on weight for example). Set some approximate shipping costs and then create a special offer that give 100% discount on the shipping. It looks nice for the user: $20.00 $0.00 - Australia Post Give it a try at www.bestchess.com.au Regards, Corneliu. |
