Has anyone implemented the use of a "mega menu" on their site (www.officemax.com). I have tried using Project Seven's "Megavator" but can seem to get it to work right. I've created a web control for this and placed it within my header control (I've also tried other ways to implement this...nothing works). I get a java error and only plain text is loaded for the menu.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Perhaps get it working on a straight html page first and then move needed .js and .css to the .aspx page or master page. I have used Project Seven menus in the past with no issues but have not tried the Megavator yet. Looks good.

You can actually achieve a mega-dropdown menu using the "Develisys Menu" content block in our free Develisys BVC 5 Toolkit. Granted, you'll need to know what you're doing with CSS to get it to look the way you want.

I now have the javascript working...I just can't get the css file to load! Instead of having seperate files (.css & .js) would this work having the javascript and css directly in the control?

I'm still new to asp.net...kind of teaching myself on the fly. I really appreciate your input!

Aaron, is the Develisys Menu only for homepagecolumns? Or can it be used as a horizontal menu? I'm trying to acheive this with the header user control.

You can use the Develisys Menu for any kind of menu. I posted some instructions in that thread that shows you how to add a Content Column to the header control so you can then drop the Develisys Menu into it.
