The 5.01 patch has been released for BV Commerce 5. All current customers can download the patch from the Order Details section of the "My Account" area on the BV store at http://www.bvsoftware.com/storeA list of changes is attached to this post. How do we get updated core files? I downloaded the complete version instead of the patch. |

Okay, I downloaded the patch but the install only works to a local drive. How do I do this to a remote shared server? Doesn't seem to be a way to do this with the patch. I presume the solution is to pull down the entire 5.1 release and upload all the files then run the two SQL scripts.
BTW, I've had lots of struggles trying to even configure a new BVC5 store. I recognize that this is really a brand new product moving the whole thing to ASP.NET 2.0 but it seems like it would have been better to do more bug testing and fixes before releasing it as a finished product.
