Adding Tracking for Custom Shipping Methods

I need to be able to add several shipping methods such as DHL, Yellow Freight, Watkins Freight, etc. I drop ship products from several different vendors and I need to be able to enter tracking info for these various carriers. I do not need the shopping cart to estimate shipping costs for any of these, I just need to be able to provide a web link for customers to lookup tracking status. I had to change the source on BVC2004 to do this, but I was hoping that wasn't the case for BV5.
