I turned on SSL told it to use https//:Secure.FireFold.com/

I can place an order, no problem there, but when I try to log into the admin it just refreshes the page and doesn't go in.

Thanks

I was able to go into the database directly and change the SSL back to "Off" but I will need to have this fixed before going live

If that is the actual URL you're using (https//:Secure.FireFold.com/), then it's a typo. Should be https://secure.firefold.com/ (note the colon in the wrong place).

Is it a shared cert or an owned cert?

Do you actually get to the login screen and when you click login the page just refreshes? Or can you not even get to the login screen?

Yes I get to the Login screen, enter my User Name and PW

Then it goes to the same screen Doesn't forward onto the Admin Section

I can place an order and go through the cart and it shows I am on a SSL Page

This is an In House Server, my own with its own SSL Cert

Have you tried to manually go to the admin section. Just to see if there is some issue with the forwarding and not with the ssl certificate. The url should be /bvadmin/default.aspx. Also, do you see anything in the event log? And one other thing, when you go to place an order, did you make sure that it is showing https during the order?

If anyone else is having the issue, please post here, since we cannot reproduce this one on our side.

Hi,

I had a similar problem with another cart that had the ssl installed incorrectly. Same symptoms, admin page would just refresh. Could not get into admin. I removed the "s" from the https and was able to get into admin and fix the settings.
