Is anyone using BVC5 in a production environment?

Is anyone using BVC5 in a production environment or is the first release too buggy? Should I wait until a stable SP1 is released? If you are using it in production, what's your experience been? I can't afford to go live with BVC5 til it's really ready.

I'm currently working on a few, and http://www.blacksheepstyle.com just went live last week with no issues. Since we're so close to SP1, which is due next week, I'd say it might be wise to wait until then so you don't have to deal with two installations. However, it might be a good idea to get a head start on your theme and structure using the current version in the meantime. |

Ed, Check my site: www.bestgames.com.auI've been online with BVC5 for more than one month now and I'm happy. I also reported a bunch of issues that I fixed myself before/after the reports. If you'r not confident about fixing issues yourself I would recommend you get BVC5, install it and start customizing it and be ready to install SP1 and put it into production. Corneliu. |

Unfortunatelly the Featured Game section and the Recommended product rotator are not customized for each category.
I'll need quite a fair bit of work to get those sections customized for each category. I'm working on that but (unfortunatelly) it has quite a low prio for me.
Thanks anyway for pointing that out. It reminds me that I should push this task's prio up and get it done :)
