All, is there any way (or has anyone done this yet) to add a WYSIWYG editor to sections of the site like under the Admin section when creating a Custom Page? To me it would make sense to have a simple editor built into the text box there (like the one on this message board) so I don't have to go create my table and stuff in another editor and paste it in...
Is there an add on for this? How hard would it be to implement something like this?
Thanks.

I have the same issue. My client will take over maintenance on the site after production and I know there will be calls. I am working on getting a control to plug in like freetextbox currently does but I am using RAD Editor from telerik. If I get it working properly I will post.

WYSIWYG is built in. To turn it on, go to BVC5 Admin > Options > Display. The first option on that page is WYSIWYG Editor. You can use either the Free Text Box, which is a WYSIWYG editor, or select Markdown if you want to use the Markdown markup-shortcut language (which I prefer).
If you select Free Text Box and save your changes, the next time you visit the custom page section you'll see your WYSIWYG controls. |

That would be great... I am in the same boat as you so please do post if you are able to come up with a plug-in.

GG, see the post before yours, does that help? You probably missed it due to forum moderation. |
