FIXED - Backordered not an option in inventory page

In order to remove the add to cart and quantity fields I have been told to go into the inventory page for the product and select "Backordered – do not allow purchase" but I do not have that option in the dropdown list on any of my bvc5 sites. Has anyone else had this issue in bvc5?

In bvc5 the option is "Show As Out Of Stock (Do Not Allow Orders)" You get to this by editing a product and then only menu at the left side, click on inventory. Hope this helps! |

Yeah that's what I have it set to. So there is no way to get rid of the quantity box without disabling the control is stock is 0 and inventory is enabled? case in point. http://72.249.40.246/Pro...SSORIES-CASE__10803.aspx

Yes, I see what you mean. Here is the files for the BVC5 product template, see if these work for you. The bv 2004 template will follow. To install them, just copy into \yourwebsite\bvmodules\product templates\bvc5 and replace the current files. Make backups in case something doesn't work for you!
