I am aware of the text field instead of prices where one could put "Call for pricing", but the add to cart button still shows. If a manfacturer states that we can not advertise a price, should the add to cart button not show? I put an email into the manfacturer to see if this goes against their policy. If I am not missing something, it might be something to add to a feature request: ability to remove "add to cart" button.
Thanks!

With MAP, you usually can't show the price unless the item is added to the cart. Not sure how this feature works in this case, but generally that is how it works. |

Bryan,
Just set the item to "Out of stock" and then "Show on site, do not allow backorders." The product will display but won't be able to be purchased.

The text will show "call for pricing". Its not about knowing the price because the customer will be forced to call. Thats when they get their "special" price. For most online stores i would agree with you, the customer, or you, has to place the order online because there is no other way to process the order. However, in our industry, everyone that sells these products form this manfacturer has a brick and mortar store, so its not a problem processing the order through the brick and mortar store. Or we can create a dummy product online that only CS can access and purchase online.
What I am having a hard time with is: the manfacturer (our biggest seller i might add) is forcing all websites that sell their products to not show ANY price. I have yet to get any information if "ANY PRICE" includes at checkout. They may not even allow a list price at checkout. That's why i may not be able to have the add to cart button. We then have the choice of processing the order through our brick and mortar store, or creating a dummy product that only CS can access to purchase online.
