Just posting this again so it doesn't get lost or forgotten. I couldn't find it in the bug list and you guys are probably close to SP2.
Product offers do not appear to be working right on our site. We like to offer a 10% family discount if they purchase 2 or more clinics. I have set the offer up as a product offer good this calendar year and cannot be used with other offers and does not require a promotion code.
I have tried it with and without another offer and it doesn't seem to work. I could my settings are incorrect but I don't know what they would be.

- Offers bug continued -
The temporary work around/fix (2 offers, one shut off and the "Cannot Use with Other Offers" check box unchecked) only works if the customer orders Quantity => 2 (in our case) of any one approved product. If (in our case) they order the same product twice - one at a time or order quantity 1 of more then one approved product, it will not give the discount.
Just putting this out there to make sure this option has been addressed in SP2.

We do have an issue with the "Cannot use with Other Offers" option. Even when this option is unchecked, are you still saying that you have issues with the offer applying properly?
When you talk about them ordering the same product twice, do you have the option that does not merge identical items in the cart? Are you saying that we aren't adding up the total quantities to decide whether to apply the discounts or not. Because this could potentially be a new issue. |

Yes. It is a new issue then or I'm screwing something up (again). I was wondering why I was one of few that were seeing this problem.
If our customers are ordering books or merchandise, they can order as many as they want. It doesn't make any difference to us anyway because we don't discount the merchandise.
What we do offer is family or group type discount. If family with more then one player (family member or a friend) sign up for the same clinic or if the player signs up for a clinic offered in more then one location, we offer them a 10% accross the board discount on any of our approved clinics. In other words, buy 2 or more approved clinics on the same order - Get 10% off the total.
User choices on each clinic include First and Last Name, Group, Age, Level of Play, and How did you hear about us.
Now, being as how a player cannot attend the same session (say group A) twice at the same time we need separate registrations for each player attending that session or separate registrations for each clinic or sessions he/she or their siblings or friends want to attend. Ideally I would like to set a maximum purchase quantity of 1 so our customers don't try to put 2 players information in each of the input boxes and then purchase quantity 2 (only way they can get the discount right now).
When we get to groups, say a team wants to sign up a bunch of players, I then use the Coaches Last name as Promo Code to give them their 10% discount. This leads to problems when one of the team signs up 2 players and uses the teams Promo code. They end up getting 2 discounts stacked on top of each other (if the cannot use button doesn't work).
BV4 handled this just fine. If you bought 2 of any combination in any combination it worked just fine. [Plug coming] The only time it didn't work was after the Teck working for the "El Cheapo" Web Host I had before Noah, did an incomplete upgrade (2 times) to the newer versions. Noah even had trouble fixing that one. It took him more then the usual 5 min.
Right now I just go in at the end of the day update the order and refund some money when needed. Its not a real big deal for me, but I would be happy to test this issue on the SP2 beta for you if you want.

Nick: You still have access to my site. If you want to test this, go in and register 2 different players (with an add to cart between each) for one or 2 different clinics. Make sure you don't pick our Elite Workshop. I don't think that one is in list of approved clinic offerings.
