Okay I have Andy's Shipping app as a demo installed, but I have some quick questions. It is a bit overwhelming to me, my shipping used to be very simple.
First, I usually only ship USPS because baby slings are only 1 pound and we average two days with USPS, so we're happy its fast and cheap. With my old cart, shipping was charged by the total amount, orders over $75 were free, and International/Express were just $10 over the original charge, based on a tier of how much the total order was.
Now, with BVC5 I'm moving to actual shipping charges, but still want the $75 orders to be free but want to charge International orders a bit extra.
Here's my two problems:
When I choose International, the Global Priority is always higher cost than Global Express, even for an 8oz product! Why is that? I expect it to be under $10.
Secondly, I want First Class to not show up if order weight is higher than a certain weight.
I'll be looking at this harder, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction so I can get my cart up soon. :) |

In BVC5 you can implement free shipping for orders over $75 using an Offer. <OL> * On the BV Admin menus select Marketing. * Select Offers on the sub-menu. * Select Free Shipping and then click on the New button. * Choose the products this applies to. * Enter the minimum quantity and minimum order total. * Click on Save Changes. </OL> Global Priority higher than Global Express sounds like a bug. I hope you get a chance to submit this for investigation before SP2 is finalized. "Secondly, I want First Class to not show up if order weight is higher than a certain weight." You can do this with my Shipping Provider Suite. |

Angela,
First, I enjoy reading your posts and also your site.
Second, I only ship only via USPS and have communicated to BVC since the introduction of BVC5 that first class shows up even though the weight is over 13 ounces. I also have problems with USPS international Letter and Parcel. I don't use Global Priority or Express. Possibly, some of the problems with the USPS shipping method may be fixed with SP2.
