In your documentation it says "BVC 5 ships with the payment gateways listed...."

Since we are using Protx for our first BVC store, we assumed that we should have no problem integrating with it.

I have just started testing and now receive the following message on checking out:

"IBiz E-Payment Integrator V3 (nsoftware.IBizPay.Icharge component). Could not find a valid

license for using IBiz E-Payment Integrator V3 on this system. To obtain a trial license, please

follow the instructions on the about Box. For more information please visit [email protected] [code: G nodeid: MGBN3F4P].

If you have already purchased a license for this server, please click here for installation

instructions."

Is it correct that we have to purchase a license for this? You do not mention it in your documentation and we did not take it into consideration in the budget.

Alternatively, does our BVC developer license cover this?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Jenny,

No you do not need to purchase a license for the nsoftware product. You need to get an updated DLL file from us to correct this error. http://www.bvsoftware.com/support/

Thank you. This got rid of the license problem.

However, I am making no progress in communicating with the Protx payment server. I have filled in all the relevant details in the Protx gateway form in admin (but a bit surprised that there was no password field).

When I hit the "place order" button after entering all the credit card details, I go straight to receipt.aspx.

In the event log, there is this entry:

"Input string was not in a correct format.[ at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.BusinessRules.OrderTasks.ChangeOrderStatusWhenPaymentRemoved.Execute(OrderTaskContext context) at BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.BusinessRules.OrderTask.Execute(TaskContext context) at BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.BusinessRules.Workflow.Run(TaskContext c) ]"

Is there something in the BVC payment setup that I have missed? I would appreciate any advice. There is a distinct lack of detailed documentation on this, although I have plenty of Protx documentation.

We have had some reported issues with the protx payment gateway, but the update dll should fix these. When you hit the "place order" button, you are supposed to be redirected to the receipt.aspx. After you place the order, when you go into the admin, what does the payments section of the order look like?

Interesting. I am using the payment option "Charge Full Amount at Checkout", which I assumed means connect with the payment system and clear the payment. ie: Go straight to Protx.

On going into the payment reports, I get the orders listed and for each order an Authorize and a Charge button. When I click either of these I get an error, as follows:

<H2>[1]Could not load file or assembly 'nsoftware.IBizPayWeb, Version=3.1.2525.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cdc168f89cffe9cf' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)[/1]</H2>
Have I misinterpreted how the whole payment system works? Do we always have to go into admin and clear the payment? Is it not possible to link directly to Protx for immediate payment?

I am very confused.

This looks like a versioning conflict with the dlls, Nick will be contacting you to try and resolve this.

I am still struggling with trying to get this Protx payment gateway working.

Can anyone explain which Protx service the BVC Protx payment gateway connects to? assume this is VSP Direct and not the alternative VSP Server or VSP Form?

We are supposed to go live in a weeks time and I am not even sure that our client has the correct Protx account. Can anyone point me in the direction of some detailed documentation?

Many thanks,

Jenny

We got this payment processor working for another one of our customers, so here is a few tips that might help out...

Live URL: https://ukvps.protx.com/...tAuth/PaymentGateway.asp
Test URL: https://ukvpstest.protx....tAuth/PaymentGateway.asp

If you can't get these urls to work, then try deleting them out, the gateway will default to its own values.

What are you using for a Currency Code? The other customer we had was using GBP.

The reason it only uses the merchant login and no password is because you have to register your IP address with Protx in order to get them to accept your transactions.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Sorry this is taking so long to get resolved.
