We are trying it on our site. We have several files in folder that can be down loaded. We are having some technical issues to deal with at present (not BV related) so they are not available at present. Here is what we discovered.
1. If the files are in a folder that needs to be downloaded, the whole folder needs to be compressed. 2. I couldn't get it work by ftp loading the files into the files folder on our web site. But it did work if you load the files using the upload feature. It seems BV puts an extension on the down loadable file name. But don't worry. It comes off when downloaded. 3. You can put as many individual files (without a folder) in a download as you want. The customer can choose which ones to down load or down load them all one at a time.
We have some fairly complicated (not very user friendly at present) video technique analysis software. We have finally come to the conclusion we need to offer it in 3 versions. First with the viewer included, second that can be viewed through your web browser (for the apple users) and a third that can be streamed through a link from our site (for those that cant seem to get through unzipping routines). We are still working on packaging the product but it should be out there pretty soon.
We put one out there as a free download for awhile. Some of the people were having trouble viewing it but the problems were not BV related. the BV part worked just fine.
We set the free download up as purchase for zero dollars. That gave us customer information and the ability to test all the problems that could show up.
Again, we didn't have any problems with the BV5 side of the download.
