Required Fields Not Being Enforced On Customer Info Page

I have been checking out the generic web site that is created when I person wishes to see a DEMO of BV5, and I noticed that when an admin requires that Company Name, Phone, FAX, and Website be filled in by a customer during their address setup, that the fields are not in fact required. The other fields work fine, and the requirement works during the checkout process. It seems weird to enforce it during the checkout process, and not during the address creation process.
If this has already been mentioned, please forgive me for mentioning this, but if it has not been mentioned, I just wanted to mention this, as I believe these are some of the issues that exist with BV2004.

Dan,
The complete address information may be required during checkout but sometimes customers place phone orders where all the information isn't required. If we enforced the requirements in the address book the customer could never edit addresses used in phone orders if the requirements differed.

I just tried the phone order thing, and I did not realize it does not show the same fields as that of an order placed by a customer, even if the show fields option is set for a certain field. I see what you are talking about.
