I am seriously looking at moving to BV5 for our store and had a quesiton about whether anyone has looked at adding -- either through a future SP or an add-on -- the functionality of "packs" -- i.e., we sell "variety packs" which include one flavor of each type of food in a product line. Right now we have to manually create those and set aside the inventory from each individual flavor. A "pack" would automatically pull inventory from each of the flavors when a cutomer ordered a "pack" and its availability would be determined by the inventory levels of each of the flavors.

Marcus,
Since kitting won't released until service pack 3, do you think you may include shared kits?
This is where the same group of items would be assigned to many products. Changing the content of the kit will change the content of all the products the kit is assigned to.

We don't have any release date on SP3 yet because it partially depends on SP2. I would expect SP3 in late spring / early Summer.
