This is a minor cosmetic issue.

When entering New Orders from admin, there is a button that says Get Shipping Rates. It is required to open this button and check the No Shipping Required box when the item purchased is a Non Shipping item.

For me that amounts to 2 extra mouse clicks per order. Being as how I manually enter about 2 of these a week I figure by the end of the year I have wasted a whole lot of nano seconds.
