I can't seem to get Google Checkout to work on my site. I've got my new Customer ID, Key and see the test amount in my checking, so its all ready to go.
Is there directions on how to integrate it in BVC5 Sp2 somewhere that I haven't noticed?
Here's the errors I'm getting in Google:
<SPAN dir=ltr>Error parsing XML; message from parser is: Invalid value for attribute name in checkout-shopping-cart/checkout-flow-support/merchant-checkout-flow-support/shipping-methods/merchant-calculated-shipping: Required field must not be blank |

Hi Angela,
I'm not 100% positive on this, however, I believe GoogleCheckout requires you to have fixed cost shipping, not quite as advanced as Paypal.
You are seeing that error because you do not have any shipping options defined under the GoogleCheckout Payment Type. |

Sorry, google checkout has some settings that you have to fill in on its setup page to provide default values for shipping. Basically they have merchant calculation call-backs that will call back to your site and pull live shipping rates. If these callbacks fail (and they only give you 3 seconds) then it uses the default shipping charges that you entered in the google checkout setup. It appears that you didn't define any default shipping values. |

I put in some shipping values ($5.50), but there are three extra blank fields there that I did not fill out. Should I just put values in there? It was weird, as these extra fields are not labeled. |

Okay, even though I don't know what the excess three blank fields are for yet, I entered in values and the Google Checkout is still not working. All it does is refresh the page. :(
Anyone know what I should enter in the four fields? I have my Default Shipping Type as Flat Rate and the Base Default Shipping Amount is $5.50. The next three blank fields I'm not sure what they are for, although I'm going to assume that they are for my 3 shipping options I have specified: USPS Priority, Global Priority and Global Express? |

...also...the blank fields are the default cost that Google should charge if the customer selects that shipping method but your store does not respond with a calculated cost within 3 seconds.
It might help to understand the order of events...
1. Customer clicks on Google Checkout button. 2. BVC5 prepares a list of items, a list shipping options (names and default cost), a bunch of other lists; and sends all that to Google. 3. Customer enters a shipping address on Google and Google displays the appropriate shipping options and taxes for that address. 4. Customer selects one of the shipping options and Google asks the store to calculate the shipping cost for that option using an "anonymous address". 5. If the store responds within 3 seconds, Google will display the calculated shipping cost. If the store does not respond within 3 seconds then Google will display the default shipping cost for that option. |

Angela,
The 3 blank fields correspond to the 3 USPS shipping methods that you have. I believe there is a bug in the US Postal Service shipping provider. I just posted a bug report for this. |
