I tried creating a custom page in BVC 5 SP2. The Admin part worked fine and added a new custom page. When I click on the Site Map page the link is there for the new Custom page but when I click on it I just go to the home page. Checking the other custom pages they each have a unique page id - Store/Custom.aspx?id=b24014e4-92bf-4197-9b6f-c54546747e9c but the new page simply has Store/ taking me to back to default.aspx. Looks like something didn't get written to the database properly. You can see the Custom Page info is still there (after closing and reopening the store as Admin). It appears that the custom url is being written to the database even when it is blank. Try replacing this file in /BVAdmin/Content/ but please make a copy of your original first. This page will only help for creating a new custom page, you'll have to delete the one you have that isn't working.
