It would be beneficial to allow the setting of Product Properties on a per variation basis, as is possible with images, descriptions, and pricing.


One of the main fields we use in product properties is a Manufacturer's Part Number. Often times, the same product is available in 2 or more colors. We'd like to be able to use a product input to select a color, however, since the manufactuer's part number is different for each of the colors, it will display as we'd like to our customers.
