Hi everyone,

I'd like to add a flat shipping fee to 2 of my 8 total products... I thought I could accomplish this by adding a handling fee, but it adds to all the products and I just need 2 in particular.

Adding the the extra shipping fee is possible, but I would rather class these as non-shipping items and have a flat rate of $15 appear in the handling to avoid the shipping fields all together.

Anyone know a way to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Hello Ryan.

You could use the extra ship fee, choices or just adjust the cost of the product. Alternatively, you could use Andy Miller’s shipping component to route the product(s) to a specific shipping method with an adjusted cost:

Ryan,

If you are up for a little programming, you could write a workflow task that adds the handling for specific products. I wrote up an article on how to write a workflow task here,
