I was getting an error from Google like the following. After SP2 the Google error went away, now I get 10 pages a day of this:

It looks like a spider crawling your site. Are you only getting this from www.ask.com?

Actually, it looks like your site is using the TekGear Redux theme. In this theme, in the masterpages, are the script tags prepended with "../" ? If so, it appears to be an issue with asp.net and they way that it works when the "head" section of a site gets the runat="server" attribute.

SP2 included a new browser caps file to solve a bug in ASP.NET 2.0 with url rewriting. This was a Microsoft bug in the .net framework but we included the browser caps file as a fix in SP2.

Thanks for the replies.
Justin, I agree it looks like a spider crawling.

With what Marcus said, do I need to fix something or just ease all these errors every day?

Are you getting this from anyone other than ask.com? For example, in the error you posted its says

From:<br>User:65.214.44.57(65.214.44.57)<br>Agent:Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; Ask Jeeves/Teoma; +http://about.ask.com/en/docs/about/webmasters.shtml)

Do you ever get a user from other domains or websites producing this error?

I get pages of error messages every day. My store is not open.
In addition to many scanalert errors, I get the following every day.

What are these? Not sure if related to ask.com errors.

If the errors are normal and not really errors, is there a way to supress them so I can see the real errors?

Thanks,

Bob

It appears that someone is trying to access pages on your site that do not exist. We don't use crystal reports in any of our software and it looks like somehow you are trying to link to it. In the first error message it appears to be trying to access a category named USPS, do you have any categories named this?

Yep, those errors are from someone accessing pages that don't exist. It looks like someone is guessing page names for some reason.
