To reproduce,
* Define a non-zero handling charge.
* Create at least one shipping method.
* Set the default rate for the method(s).
Start a Google checkout and using a breakpoint, force the rate request from Google to timeout. Notice that the shipping rate(s) displayed in Google are default rate + handling.
Click on Edit order to return to the store, disable the breakpoint, then click on Google checkout again. Notice that this time the shipping rate(s) displayed in Google do not include the handling. |

I also noticed that BVC5 assumes the handling was added, so when the total payment comes back BVC5 splits the shipping cost. For example if BVC5 is configured with $2.50 handling and a shipping method that returns $10, then Google will display $10 for shipping and handling. If the customer places the order, BVC5 will record $2.50 handling and $7.50 shipping. |

Ping. Still exists after SP2 Core hotfix #1. This does not affect me personally (or my shipping add-ons), but it will affect merchants that use Google Checkout and charge handling...perhaps not a big group. |

Crap. I tried to go through and find bugs that we could fix really quick to get into this patch. I guess I missed this one. We will build up a list of other things that need fixing and try to get them into a patch we will release at a later date. Thanks for the heads up. If anyone else spots any quick changes that could be included in a patch, please let us know and we will try (no promises) to get them included. |
