Google search, old website URL results and URL re-writing.

I'm getting some great results with Google searches. "Mission medicine cabinets", "Arts and Crafts style mirrors" etc,... I'm typically on page 1-3.
The URL link (to my current SF6 site) comes up looking something like "<SPAN class=a>[color=#008000>missionfurnishings.com/Cabinetry.aspx?CategoryID=10"</FONT>
I'd]</b> two weeks. <FONT color=black>Aside from cramming my new[/color] URL(s) down Google's throat, how do I (or can I) make sure that the old links don't come back "Page not available" or similar once the old site is dead?
"missionfurnishings.com" is going to point to the new site. |

mitch, how is the old domain pointing to the new site? are you using a 301? does the new site have a cabinetry.aspx page? if it doesn't (or maybe even if it does) you need to set the page up to look at any querystring property "CategoryID" and 301 that page to the correct new category page |

Mitch,
I use Ewal.UrlMapper.UrlMapperSectionHandler to remap may stuff when I change it. It works really nice and supports regex.
