You may have noticed that we are releasing significantly more hotfixes recently than we have for other releases and we would like to explain why this is. In the past we have tried to release hotfixes only for more critical issues while waiting for a full release before issuing most changes. We have decided to change this policy somewhat and begin releasing more hotfixes between releases even though this means a little bit more work on our end. We do want to stress though that unless you are using a particular feature and are experiencing problems from a bug, it is best not to install the hotfixes and just wait for the next full release. In the end we hope that making this small change will lead to a better experience for our users. Also, please be aware that there are still issues that are going to come up that because of time constraints or complications with rolling them out that we just won't be able to ship until a full release. But hopefully these will be kept to a minimum. Thanks guys! |

Actually, the best policy is to release the hotfixes, and not wait until the next release. Modern software releases continously all the time. The next release should be a feature release and quite rightly we wait. But it is such a breath of fresh air to get fixes so fast, well done.
