I just ordered two identical items from Amazon. $177.12 + 18.42 S&H. I can see two boxes (each close to UPS oversize), but my cc shows two separate charges.

Does anyone here charge separately for each parcel shipped, esp if each shipped the same day ordered?

An oddity... one item cost $18.42 S&H, the other $18.43 S&H so the charges aren't the same.

I actually ordered two books from amazon the other day and they got charged separately. I checked not to group my packages and I suspect that they shipped from different warehouses and therefore ended up getting charged separately even though they shipped on the same day.
