May we please have a way to add the recipient's email to the "Ship To:" feilds on the checkout page?
The shopper "Bill to:", gets the confirmation email, this is the addy forwarded to Fed Ex, UPS when the label is created and the package is shipped and is useless info if the package is going somewhere else.
The order confirmation should still go to the buyer, but it would be useful if the recipient could get the tracking info email from Fed Ex (or me) so they know there is a package on it's way, cc'd to the buyer.
Many of my clients use me to drop ship to their buyers, and gifts are often sent to third party addresses. |
