Help needed setting up solution in VS2005...

Hi there,
I've been trying to setup a solution in VS2005 as per the instructions online in the manual, but every time i try and compile the solution i get hundreds of errors all of which seem to be related to namespaces not being declared or types not being defined. The main error is "Name 'BVSoftware' is not declared". And there seem to be 2 files creating all the errors TaskLoader.vb and ViewUtilites.vb.
What might I be doing wrong? I've followed the procedures to the letter. It worked fine on my laptop (everything was installed local), but now i've moved installed the files onto our dev server and setup a project on my local desktop it all seems to be going wrong! Help! Any help would be most appreciated...

Are you logging into a server or local machine? If logging in via server/FTP make sure you log into the WWW folder of the site. This set's the references to the BV5 Bin folder (.dll). If you are not logged into the WWW then simply add a reference to your bin folder via VS2005 by right clicking the IP or localhost, go to properties, drill down to your local BV5 bin files, select ok. |
