Purchase orders are acceptable from my clients who have open (house) accounts. They are each a member of a 'price group'.


I've gotten a few orders from people who fill in the purchase order info apparently under the false impression that I'm going to ship and wait 30 days for payment. BWAAA HAAAA HAAAA! Fools!!!





Is there any way to discriminate at the checkout... I can think of three ways to deal with this....



1. A requirement to sign in as a price group member if the PO option has been selected, or



2. Graying out the PO section if the shopper hasn't signed in as a "price group" member.



3. A separate checkout for price group members with PO option added to the regular cart, from which PO has been removed.



This is going to be a PITA. Does anyone have a way to close the PO option for some, while leaving it open for others?? At the VERY least, I'd like to add a bit of text explaining that not everyone gets to use the PO option. Something like: "Purchase orders are accepted only after pre-approval".
