I am having a problem with validation on the product choice combinations. For a given product I have two product choice combinations. The first drop down has one null value item and the second drop down box contains multiple null value items. If the user does not make a change to either drop down and clicks add to cart the page returns an error 'Field Required' and puts an asterisk by the first drop down only. If the user selects the last null value item in the second drop down box and clicks Add To Cart then the error message displays properly for both drop down boxes. So it seems that the error message only displays correctly for the last null value item in the drop down. If the user selects a value from the first drop down and selects the first null value item from the second drop down and clicks Add To Cart the page reloads but there is no error message. The product is not added to the cart but there is also no error message.

Does anyone have any ideas/solutions to solve this? The store is currently running BV5 SP1 and unfortunately upgrading to SP2 is not an option right now.
