Problem with Product Modifiers in email templates

I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to this as it has been a source of great confusion for us? It does not seem there is a way to include the customers choices for Product Modifiers within the email templates. Thus drop ship notices are not reflecting product modifiers in the email to drop ship. This causes us to have to manually compare the order within BV orders with the drop ship email and manually change all emails.
For example:
We sell review course for professional exams. A course may include books, DVD, and software (which is optional). Product modifiers are used to allow the customer to include or exclude (subtracts the cost of the software from the course) the software from the course. The product modifier works fine in the cart and correcty displays as: Exclude software (subtract $100), but in the various emails, including the drop ship email, just does not show this so the email does not inform the customer nor other email receiptiants of the customer's selections. Customers are confused and drop shipper will ship the wrong items unless we manually check and modifiy every single email.
Have any fixes or solutions been incorporated in the lates patches that would solve this very problematic issue for us?

Try placing this in the HTML Repeating section: <tr> <td align=left valign=top>[[LineItem.Quantity]]</td> <td align=left valign=top>[[Product.Sku]]</td> <td align=left valign=top>[[Product.ProductName]]<br />[[LineItem.InputsAndModifiers]]<br />[[LineItem.ShippingStatus]]</td> <td align=right valign=top>[[LineItem.AdjustedPrice]]</td> </tr> I think [[LineItem.InputsAndModifiers]] is what you're after. This will look like the img below: Although I've got some serious formatting to do on my emails and printouts (#12 on my to-do list), this works for me and should get you started... I've successfully added Product Modifiers to my vendor email by adding the following to the repeating section of the email template
[[LineItem.InputsAndModifiers]] |

Thank you both Mitch and Joe,
I've placed the code [[LineItem.InputsAndModifiers]] in the repeating section of my email template, however, what appears in the actual email is [[LineItem.InputsAndModifiers]] and I'm wondering if this is available in the version of BV 5 that I have or do I need to install the latest patch. Within the edit template "Available Tags" sectino this tag does not appear. Can either of you see this under "Available Tags"?

I'd submit a support ticket for this. (At the top of this page) It could be that you've missed a file update somewhere along the way.
The tag should be there and should work. |

Hi Rene,

This tag was made available in SP2. If your site is already at SP2 and the tag is not working, please open a support ticket and I will be happy to look into this for you.
