I'm not really sure whether this is a bug, a serious flaw, or just a poor implementation of a feature, however, in looking over some of the volume pricing code I noticed that there is not way to reliably apply volume pricing to product choices/modifiers. If you have product choices setup, the volume pricing is completely ignored if favor of the product choice pricing. If you use a product modifier, the volume pricing takes precedence but completely ignores the adjustment value of the product modifier. So if you have a modification that costs $50 and a volume discount that would typically take $10 off the base product cost when you order 3 or more, if the person orders qty 3 of the modified product, it results in a net $60 off.


This whole system really needs to be re-worked where the discounts are just that a discount off of the base price rather than established as a new base price.
