Can the inventory be shown on the product page for the customer to see? If so where is the option?

Thanks

Dan

This requires a couple of lines of custom code but it can be done.

Hey Dan -- welcome -- They have a couple of other templates that show inventory -- check my site out - I'm using one of them (BV2004Inventory template)

Is the source code required to do it?

Hello Dan.

You will not need the developer pack. This change can be made with the standard version and does require minor code changes.

Hi Dan,

We have an inventory display tool that we have developed that allows you to input any html you would like for inventory display and includes "bvc style" selectors ([[Inventory.QuantityAvailableForSale]]). The html is set on a site wide basis in the admin plugin section and can be overriden on a product by product basis by creating a product property called "outofstockmessage", "instockmessage","lowstockmessage" depending on what you are looking to override.

you all mention how easy it is to do and show examples of it in action.

Could you please show the "couple of lines of code" needed to do it.

Here is the one Everett did for me.
http://forums.bvcommerce.com/de...45277&g=46705#m46705

We are changing our product "look" to better take advantage of this feature and to simplify product display. This is now doing exactly what we wanted it to do.

Thanks again Everett.
