We are having a horrible time with our BV5 site now and I need a SQL Admin to narrow down the problem and fix.
We are losing orders. We get the order in our email but when we go to the dashboard it does not show.
We can go through email address then look at previous orders and click there to get into order to print it out.
This is the orders from the past 30 mins

It is skipping them randomly.
We get the emails in for the order not showing so we know that they are there.
I NEED SOMEONE TODAY TO HELP ME OUT. MONEY IS NOT A QUESTION, WE JUST NEED THIS FIXED.

First, make sure you don't have random order numbering turned on. Go to: Admin>Option>Orders
There is a place to set the increment of the order numbers.... ie: if ""1" to "3" for each new order" is shown, then the next order number will be increased from 1 to 3 at random.
1000, +1= 1001, +3=1004, +2=1006... etc.
You may not be missing anything. This is a useful way to hide from the ouside world exactly how many orders you receive.
Set these to "1 to 1" for 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004,.... |

Mitch, That was my first thought too, but then I saw, "We get the emails in for the order not showing so we know that they are there." I think that means he got an email for order 292945 (for example), and that he can find the order if he searches for it, but it is not showing up in the dashboard. I'm not sure which dashboard he means. If he means BVAdmin/Default.aspx, then I suspect the "missing" orders do not meet the status condition he has selected. |
