Hi,
I remember I've seen on a BVC site from one of the members a nice ZoomImage script that had a nice magnifying glass over the image and you could click that to open a popup with the images.
AFAIK the site was selling bed linen (maybe?).
Two questions: What's the site? What's the name of the script if it's freely available?
Thanks,
Corneliu. |

I am pretty sure the site uses ThickBox or LightBox: ThickBoxLightBox |

I've got Smartview on my site: www.missionfurnishings.comIt works very well, though I have only a few pics that take advantage of the zoom feature. Most are still shown as normal size. Better images are coming..... |

Corneliu, PlumeriaBay.com is using a modified version of the SmoothBox script for the MooTools library, which is much lighter than the Prototype/Scriptaculous/Lightbox combo. |

I generally don't like the scripts that gray my browser "taking" control of it. So I found Highslide (http://vikjavev.no/highslide/#examples) and I love it. All I had to do is disable the "move picture" functionality. Check their examples. Thanks everyone. Corneliu. |

I wouldn't really call it 'taking control' as long as clicking the translucent DIV closes the modal box. It's especially handy when presenting photos and information without a lot of distraction or surrounding color. It's kind of like a movie theatre.
I like Highslide; nice, solid feature set. I don't see a download link, though... |

Scroll up on the page, you find a download link in the left-hand side menu. Corneliu. |

I was reading their instructions ("Download and extract the zip-archive from below.") and that's what threw me off. I could have just looked around. :)
Thanks. |
