In BV2004, once an order was received by the admin, when the admin went to edit the order, the ability to edit the shipping cost was also present. This was a big deal as the UPS system has so many variables involved that for it to determine a cost that even comes close to the actual shipping cost was a long shot. Currently I see no way to edit the shipping cost of an order once the order is received.

Please look into this.

Thanks

Dan, I agree. I think the entire order should be available for correction of shipping, discounts, sales that have ended but for you, OK...

Agreed. I wasn't aware that this couldn't be done?

Yes, I don't think anyone knew that this was an issue until an order was actually received, and a person went to edit the shipping. I have spoke with Everett, and he indicated it would be taken care of in SP3, although it would be great to get this one prior to that, as it is a very critical thing. A current work around, although not pretty, is to put a negative amount in the admin dicount area in the edit order screen. The customer will have no idea as a to what has happened, but you as a store will be able to charge a correct amount.

You guys say that you can edit the shipping costs in admin for BV 4. We are running BV 4.7. I'm in the admin interface working on just this issue for a client due to the UPS thing. I can only see where I can edit discounts. Please tell me how a person goes about editing the shipping costs and then resending the final total to the customer.

Thank you,

Barb

Barb, post this in the BV4 area. You're in BV5 land. We can't do this yet.
