I don't see anything in the specsheet for BV5 that points to a CMS system. I know in BV2004 that you could create "custom pages" or something like that, but I'm looking to be able to add custom pages that may or may not be in a top or side navigation, as well as things like blogs.
I know that you can hack via an SSI or iFrame something like a wordpress/blogspot (we are hacking blogger into an iframe on one site) but I want TIGHT integration of a CMS system into the e-commerce platform. Has anyone done that? How about a tight integration (navigation, SEO, etc.) between something like DotNetNuke and BV5?
On this new site I'm startign to spec out, once the design is done, I want to be able to add content without ever opening a text editor or Dreamweaver and just use a web-based CMS system. |

You can do custom pages from admin, then have a choice of naming the page, show in menu, footer or not. see some that i created: http://www.sterlingforest.net/Aboutus.aspx (appears in footer) http://www.sterlingforest.net/catalogs.aspx (appears above header) |
