Currently with fullcontrol which has been decent. But, I may be looking to switch. I'd like to keep it under $100 for high level hosting.
Reliability, speed, familiarity with BV. Smartermail preferred, version 4.0 or higher.

You can't go wrong with Applied I - you can get a nice package with them for $100 -- Smartermail and stats are included in their control panel. |

I am using and have been using Resposio.com for at least 10+ years. Resposio was Responsible For Getting all Three of my Sites Designed and Built. They are and always have been my host from day one. Everything Resposio does for me is Professional with very positive end results. They are Very Cost Effective as they are responsible for driving traffic to our well built, well maintained and well hosted sites. My Vote:Resposio.com Resposio has a proven track record with me. |

I'm not as worried about the SEO - with very little effort and $0 we're already in the top 3 in several searches for key products in a VERY competitive industry, so we've done okay in that sense. What I'm looking for is someone who understands BV in and out.
I'd like to see SmarterMail 4 with Resposio - I think the site is listing the 3 version. The prices seem a little high when compared to what is out there from Applied etc, but YMMV I guess.

SEO isn't the only thing Resposio specializes in. Noah also has a thing for speed. (Not that kind. I mean fast servers with fast load times.) He wants to have the fastest loading sites out there even on Black Fridays.
The thing I like about Noah is he doesn't charge me for installing upgrades or service packs. I try not to bug him too much but if its something simple he quite often doesn't charge for it.
I don't know what version of smart mail he is using now. I know he just upgraded. I do know he just cut my junk mail from 150-200/day to about 5-6/ day.
If you are lucky enough to be at the top most of the search engines and you decide to go with Noah, I would still recommend you use some of his tools to insure you stay there.
Yeh! He is a little bit higher, but I think it is worth it.

Brandon, some quick questions:
Are you using SPF records at this point in time/do you require them? How many sites per box for the plans? Shared SQL 05? (how big)
Each day I realize fullcontrol is great for those that are VERY technically literate. IE, it's great for a guy like you, but for the average store owner there are way too many things left to worry about.

Hey C, Noah here.
1. SPF records are used and are optional. 2. We don't load boxes based on sites, we load them based on CPU usage. We have single sites that require multiple boxes to support as well as others that use very little resources. 3. That would depend on the plan you go with. We don't really sweat the storage until it gets big. Usually at that point you wouldn't be on a shared box anyway.
I don't mean to sound corny, but we're more than just a host. |
