Stock SP3 full and all upgrades:

Triggers:

Product page has required product choices with null values and a minimum quantity.

User goes in, lowers the minimum below the min quantity and hits add to cart. Default prompts tell the user they must make selections etc. User makes selection, changes quantity to an acceptable level and an application error is tossed.

This was seemingly fixed in the second beta, came back in the final.

I tried a product with a Product Choice drop-down having the first one as a null and 3 others. The minimum qty was 2, which shows up as the default value in the quantity box. I must select one of the options first, but modifying the qty to be 1, the notice appears. I can then put in the quantity.

How did you create your product that is giving you the error? Do you have inventory on this product? What is the error you get?

Update: This was on a the full SP3, not an updated site.

It gets interesting when you have a minimum quantity, but inventory below that value and you are set for "do not allow orders". You get a message that the "Test Product 1 Red does not have enough quantity to complete order. Please modify it." Change the value to satisfy the available inventory, but set it lower than the minimum quantity and you get a double message that cannot be resolved by the customer.

"Product Test Product 1 Red has a minimum purchase quantity of 2. Amount Adjusted."

and

"Test Product 1 Red does not have enough quantity to complete order. Please modify it."

Coleen,

We have identified and issue with the SP2 to SP3 patch where the DATA SQL script does not correctly insert error messages into the SiteTerms table. We are still investigating your potential problem with minimum quantities and null choices but tomorrow we will be posting an updated SQL hot fix. I would recommend running the hot fix and then testing this issue again.
