I'm no expert, but if an email template starts with <html>, shouldn't the email at the other end of the line look properly formatted per the standard rules? I've gotten a few email replies and sometimes my stuff looks awful coming back at me. I hope it didn't arrive that way. Sometimes it looks fine. When it looks scrambled, I'm unable to right click and 'view source'. When it look OK, I can 'view source'.

Can someone on the receiving end set his email reader so that the rows and columns fall to pieces. Plain text, rich text, Apple... whatever?

I really don't want to deal with this now... tell me I can't fix it, it's a problem on their end. OR... perhaps someone has a bomb-proof email template and will share it.

Mitch,

They can have their settings to either receive in Plain text, or change it to text when they send to you.

My emails/invoices in SF6 were in plain text and plenty butt-ugly... but they worked. This isn't a BV5 problem, but I'd like to look good on the screen at all times.

Back to plain text...?
