How is the Suggested Items list being generated on a product? Also, how do you add/remove suggested items from that list?
Everywhere I look on the product edit page suggests that the suggested Items section should not even exist. But, when you goto a product there are Suggested Items. Its rather confusing.
I know there is a performance option to display how many suggested Items but, we want to edit the actual list or at least understand how the suggested Items list is being generated.

In BV5-land, they're called "Up Sells" and "Cross Sells" and adding these is as easy as pie, and they are added to products on a product-by-product basis.
On the product edit page, select "Up Sells/Cross Sells' in the grey box at the upper left. Once there, you'll find an up sell area and a cross sell area. Check the box next to the product you wish to attach and click "Add". The list will populate and you can change the display order. Don't forget to save changes before you leave. |
