We had our site moved to an upgraded server this morning and now can't send Inventory emails -- Order email notifications are being sent/received, but I get a failed message when I try to run the Inventory email. Plus on the email page settings, I try and send a test and get a failed message also. Below is the event log entry:

Failure sending mail.[ at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at BVSoftware.Bvc5.Core.Utilities.MailServices.SendMail(MailMessage m, Boolean async) ]

I'm wondering if I'm missing a setting -- the only thing that would change is the IP address for the site, but I don't see where I have that set anywhere.

Thanks
Noah

Are you using SMTP on the webserver, or an actual mailserver?

If delivering through a real mailserver, does it allow for relaying from your new IP?

Joe:

I was just at your site and the top menu is not retuning any products, Just blank pages.

I did a search for food and it got me products. I click on one and the breadcrumbs show the categories. But from the drop down menu i'm not getting anything.

Dan -- it's working for me now -- and I've had a number of orders and no reports of trouble -- I'm hoping it was a brief glitch perhaps.

Noah -- thanks -- the guys at AI got it working -- I thought since I was getting order emails -- and yes I am usting SMTP -- but no inventory, I had a setting wrong.

Joe:

Just looked again and it must be and IE6 thing. As the the products are there, but they are at the bottom of the page, under "whats for sale" box. It's like everything is formated to the left.

I just looked in Firefox and everything was ok.

That is strange, as i know i have looked at your site from here before with IE6 and not had an issue
