"Item has been added to cart" stays if ordering another of the same product

I received a phone order and placed it on-line for the customer. She wanted 2 of the same item, but with different modifiers.
I entered the order for the first, hit "add to cart" got the "Item added to cart' Msg.... OK
I went to the top of the page and made different choices for the 2nd purchase and when I got to the bottom of the page, the "Item added to Cart" msg was still there.
Shouldn't making a new choice, after the 1st item hit the cart, have cleared the "cart" msg? |
